David was almost destined to a life of passion for music. He went to the same school as Andy Fraser (Free), Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols), Mikey Craig (Culture Club) and Cass Lewis (Skunk Anasie, Gary Moore).

After leaving school a career as a session musician beckoned but when he started playing with people like John Edwards (Status Quo) and Justin Hildreth (Joan Armatrading and Thomas Dolby) he realised that it was going to be a hard slog to stay in this league and, quite frankly, girls and the stability of a "proper" job seemed a much better option!

The passion has always remained and even to this day he says, "I cannot walk past a guitar without wanting to pick it up and play". David has continued to play as a "semi pro" for 30 years (occasionally getting paid!) and now concentrates mainly on his first love.....classic rock music!
